Muncy Music Association

The Muncy Music Association is an organization consisting of anyone interested in the progress and development of the music departments of the Muncy School District is eligible for membership. Parents of pupils in the music departments are to be automatically considered at large members. Our goal is to provide support to the students and faculty who participate in and direct the Muncy Music Program. It is through this support that students are able to take trips to various events and participate in musical events outside of the Muncy School District.

The financial support provided to the Muncy Music Program is provided by revenues generated from operating a concession stand at many of the fall athletic events. Various fundraisers are conducted throughout the year and the money from those is deposited into the individual students’ account, which helps to defray the costs of participating in many of the opportunities available to students involved in the Muncy Music Program.

THE SUCCESS OF THE MUNCY MUSIC PROGRAM DEPENDS ON YOU!!!!

We need you to:

  • Attend meetings of the Muncy Music Association.
  • Assist with fundraisers.
  • Work in the concession stand during the fall athletic events.
  • Support the students and directors of the bands and choruses.

Meetings are normally held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the High School Cafeteria.
